do not convert
Product video fails when it is produced for the wrong context or without a clear conversion objective.
Brand video on a listing page
A sixty-second brand story works on a YouTube channel. On an Amazon PDP it competes with the buyer's immediate purchase intent and usually loses. Product video must be short, feature-led, and answer the question the buyer is asking — not tell a story they did not come to hear.
No hook in the first two seconds
Autoplay video in search results shows without sound. If the first two seconds do not communicate something compelling visually, the scroll continues. Most product videos are produced without this constraint as a design requirement.
Shot for social, deployed on Amazon
Vertical formats, fast cuts, and text overlays designed for Instagram Reels do not perform the same function on an Amazon PDP. The platform context determines the production format. Cross-deploying social creative on listing pages is a performance compromise.
Each built for its platform context.
Each format serves a defined role in the buyer journey at a specific platform location. We do not produce general-purpose video.
Amazon Main Video
Sixty to ninety seconds. Horizontal 16:9. Opens with a no-audio hook, moves through the top three purchase-decision features, includes a call-to-action close. Produced to Amazon technical specifications. This is the video that appears in the main image carousel and in video-enabled Sponsored Brands placements.
A+ Module Video
Short-form video segments (fifteen to thirty seconds) designed for integration into A+ content modules. Feature-specific rather than product-overview. Each module video answers one question: what is this feature, why does it matter, and what does it look like in use.
Video Ad Creative
Fifteen-second cuts formatted for Sponsored Brands Video placements. Built from main video footage and adapted for the ad unit's dimensions and performance context. Opens with product in the first frame, communicates the primary differentiator within five seconds.
production second.
Every video format requires a platform-specific brief before production begins. We do not adapt briefs across formats — we write separate briefs for each.
Platform & Format Brief
For each video format in the scope, we write a production brief that specifies: opening hook, feature sequence, runtime, technical specifications, and the conversion objective the video is designed to achieve. The brief is reviewed and approved before production begins.
Production
Shoot execution against the approved brief. Product handling, setup, and B-roll captured to spec. We build in the no-audio performance context from the start — captions, supers, and visual storytelling do not depend on audio to function.
Post-Production & Delivery
Editing, color grading, captioning, and export in all required formats and specifications. Main video, A+ cuts, and ad creative delivered as separate files organized by platform use.
